Summary
In this 90-min workshop, Annie Stoltie (Executive Editor of Adirondack Life) will teach participants how to identify and pursue a "profile" for magazine writing. The profile is a 'portrait in words', but how does a writer determine who to paint and in which light to cast them? The class will cover finding a subject worthy of a profile, researching and preparing questions, and crafting an engaging angle so that the piece is enlightening for the writer and rewarding for readers. Students will come away with new insights and best practices for profile writing.
