Summary
Join us for a happy hour of writing at ACW. FNW is a casual, drop-in writing session for writers of all genres and experience levels. It’s a chance to use our comfy space and helpful writing resources, so that you can get some writing done before the weekend starts. Plus, you’ll meet other writers and build your community. Friday Night Writes also features a 30-minute guest writer talk and up to 30-minute q&a, from 6 – 7PM.
June's guest talk is with NPR’s Brian Mann. Adirondack-based NPR journalist Brian Mann will talk about his reporting from around the globe, on the opioid-fentanyl crisis, the war in Ukraine and American politics. It’s a chance for casual conversation about the power, meaning and joy of storytelling in a complicated world. Brian has lived in Saranac Lake and Westport for 25 years. In addition to his work for NPR he’s a regular contributor to Adirondack Life magazine and his work appears often on North Country Public Radio.
